The Tancy model TYL meter is a volumetric meter approved for fiscal measurement, and is based on the principle of rotating pistons. Specially designed to maintain high performance in the measurement of natural gas, inerts, propane, butane, nitrogen, ethylene and city gas. For use in other gases consult. (Not suitable for use with acetylene, oxygen, or aggressive gases). The design and manufacturing tolerances achieved, allow to obtain ranges from 1:40 to 1:160 or 1:200 depending on the designation.
