FACE's long-awaited 75th anniversary celebration took place last month. And from the Auditorium of the Annex of the Honorable Chamber of Deputies of the Nation we participated, MYEEL was specially invited, to the opening act of such an important event together with 300 cooperative members, leaders, national and provincial authorities and legislators. This is how the different speakers followed one another: Marcelo Gallo, president of the federation; Julián Domínguez, president of the Chamber of Deputies, Ariel Guarco, president of the Cooperative Confederation of the Argentine Republic and Patricio Griffin, president of the National Institute of Associations and Social Economy (INAES).
At the event, commemorative plaques were delivered to the first electric cooperative in the country, Punta Alta, and to the founding cooperatives of FACE whose representatives were present at the event: Olavarría, Necochea, Las Flores, Río Tercero, Laboulaye, Villa del Dique, Hernando, Concordia, Neuquén and Rufino. And FACE received a distinction from the Chamber of Deputies. Likewise, the federation granted recognition to its former presidents Edgardo Bózzolo and Carlos Weirich.
The event closed at night in the Palais Rouge room in the Palermo neighborhood and we enjoyed the evening with friends sharing exquisite food, excellent camaraderie, dancing, music, raffles and the satisfaction of sharing these first 75 years of excellent relationship with Face. .
